The operator of Tageba, Markus Fischer ("Markus Fischer, "I") respects fully the privacy of his users. I want to explain to you how your personal data is being collected, used, distributed, transferred and stored on Tageba.

These data protection guidelines apply to Tageba, irrespective of whether you access Tageba via a computer, a mobile phone, a tablet, a TV set, or any other kind of electronic device.

Data gathered by Tageba

Tageba collects different kinds of data: Data which you provide directly to the service, and data which occurs during the usage of the services. Tageba does not collect data from third parties.

Usage and transfer of data

I use data collected at Tageba to provide the services requested by you, and to understand how you are using these services, so that I can improve your user experience.

I do not transfer your data to third parties, except to law enforcement agencies if I am obligated to do so.

I understand the importance of privacy for my users, and I want to unambiguously explain how I collect, use, transfer and save your personal data. These data protection guidelines explain how I ensure data protection. They apply to Tageba as a service, independent of whether you access Tageba via a computer, a mobile phone, a tablet, a TV set or any other electronic device. Please read the data protection guidelines thoroughly, as they contain information on how your personal data is being processed at each use of Tageba.

In addition, I kindly ask you to check the data protection guidelines regularly for updates. When I update the data protection guidelines, I will inform you in advance about important changes. You will receive a notification via the service or by email. The current version of the data protection guidelines can be found here. The date at the top of the page indicates when the data protection guidelines were last updated.

Data stored by me

Data provided by you directly

You can provide data directly, e.g. during registration, when entering allowance bookings, or when creating an account for your child.

Data on your usage of Tageba

In addition to the data provided by you, I store data on your usage of Tageba. I gather the following data:

  • IP address, data on cookies, account data
  • Login information - diagnostic, technical, error-related and user-related data, e.g. time and duration of your usage of the service, search terms entered, and all information Tageba stores in cookies on your system.

Usage of your data

I use the gathered dat for the following purposes:

  • in order to register you for using Tageba;
  • to provide the Tageba service;
  • to obtain information on how Tageba is being used, so that I can improve it and create new products and services;
  • to provide service and maintenance;

Transfer of your data

I do not transfer your data to any third party.

Secure storage of your data

I take the protection of your data very seriosuly and have taken appropriate physical and technical measures to protect your data. However, even when taking these steps to protect your data, websites, internet transport, computer systems and mobile phone connections are never 100% secure.

The data stored in Tageba are physically hosted in Germany. They will not be transferred to non-EU countries, except for the transfer of data to you when you access Tageba from outside of Europe.

Your legal rights

You have the right to request details on your personal data stored in Tageba, and to request the correction of erroneous data; you can object to the processing of your data or limit the way your data is being processed; you can request access to your data and you can request deletion of your data. When you request deletion of your personal data, you accept that you will no longer be able to use the service. Some personal data may have to be archived for a certain period as mandated by law. However, I will not use such data for business purposes.

Storage of data

I store your personal data only as long as they are needed for the purposes for which they were stored. This means that your data in Tageba will be deleted when they are no longer needed.


Tageba uses cookies in certain areas, as described below.

Cookies are small files which store data on your computer, your TV set, your mobile phone or other electronic devices. Cookies allow you to be recognized on different websites, services, on devices and/or in browser sessions. Cookies have many useful properties, such as:

  • Cookies can store your account credentials so that you do not have to enter them anew each time you access the service.
  • Cookies allow me to understand which parts of Tageba are most popular, which functionality users access and how much time they spend on the pages. Analyzing these data allows me to improve Tageba.
